Become a PPAR Volunteer
Exciting. Rewarding. Challenging. Satisfying. Powerful. All of these can describe being a PPAR volunteer. We have an amazing group of people who pull together to change the lives of animals in our community. You can volunteer as many hours as you would like. Some volunteers work behind the scenes and others attend public events. We always need more people so we can accomplish more for the animals.
Our range of volunteer needs is vast. Love talking to people? We get lots of phone calls each day we have to return. Want to work with the animals? We have numerous areas where hands-on care is needed – our spay neuter clinic on Tuesdays, mobile adoption events. Like to work with computers? We always need help with our database and website. Have a senior project or fundraising idea? We are a business, and just like any other, we need all sorts of skills, including marketing, PR, IT, and administration.
We hold new volunteer orientations every month to introduce you to the different opportunities available. They are usually held on the 1st Wednesday of each month.
