Feral Cats

What is a Feral Cat? See this article for more information.

Precious Paws believes the best way to manage feral cats is to TNR – Trap, Neuter, and Release. By spaying or neutering the cat, you prevent a population explosion and help keep the feral colony at a manageable level. Releasing them back where they were found is humane and acceptable if someone is watching over them and providing them with food and shelter. These wonderful people are known as colony caregivers.

Precious Paws currently assists in management and population control of sixteen feral colonies in Venango County.
